Ransom

My name is Kennedy Raevon Ransom. My main achievement consists of excelling in Mississippi Girls High school basketball and displaying my athletic ability across the United States.

I was raised in the small town of Flora, MS. I grew up in a loving Christian family that includes my mother and father (Keith and Beverly Ransom), and two older sister (Kelsey and Keosha). I attended East Flora Elementary, Madison Middle School, and I currently attend Madison Central High-school where I’ve maintained a 3.6 GPA.

I am currently a member of Hanging Moss Road Church of Christ. I was baptized at an early age and was able to recognize that nothing is possible without God on your side. Therefore I give him credit for all my accomplishments, academic, and athletic abilities. I started playing basketball in the 7th grade. The more I played, the more I realized I had the talent to do great things in Girls basketball. Not only did I realize this, but so did my family. Therefore, my 8th grade year I played school basketball and I also played AAU basketball which allowed me to showcase my talent across the country.

To date, I have many accomplishments in MS girls high-school Basketball, which include:

  • 2019-2020 MS Girls high school Dandy Dozen (this list includes 12 of the top girls basketball players in the state of MS, it normally consists of seniors, but I was blessed to be a recipient of this award as a junior)

  • Member of the 2020 MS North/South Allstar Team

  • 3 time 6A All Region Player

  • 2018/ 2019/ 2020 Madison County All Tournament team

  • Murrah Highschool Thanksgiving Tournament MVP

  • Girls Gold Team 2020 Allstate Sugar Bowl National Prep Classic

  • 2019 MS hoops Challenge MVP 8. Several Division 1 Women’s Basketball Scholarship offers( I am currently undecided on my college choice at this time)

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would like for everyone to remember one thing: Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
